<VV> transmission without removing motor

i have done this on a late  years ago. after removing the gasket and  
linkages , i ended up using a corvair jack on the differential cover with a  
ratchet to get it down far enough on the rear mount only to slide the trans  off.
no damage, went quick , hardest part was cleaning , and gluing the gasket  
so it stayed put. this was a late powerglide car.
you ARE going to end up with a mess to clean up. the converter drains  .
