All
Now that the Ultra Monza has emerged from the paint booth, we will soon be installing the windshield and backlite glass. There is a possibilty that Steele Rubber Products might use my car for an instructional video on installing weatherstripping on a car fresh from paint, a point which many of our customers order their weatherstripping. I am presently cleaning and polishing my roof rail metal strips, as well as all of my trim. I'm also blasting the sash channels and preparing to reseat the 4 glasses.

I've started investigating the different types of sound deadening/heat insulation available in the aftermarket. One of my goals is to make this car as quiet as possible inside (so Wanda will ride in it).

>From my research so far, I have found that most materials are similar to Dynamat, but Dynamat costs a LOT more than anything else out there. No matter what I end up using, it will be better that what GM did, which amounts to tar paper and cardboard.

Anyone use Dynamat or any of the other products out there? How happy are you with them?

Inquiring minds.

Also, once I clean and blast a used hood hinge, I want to take some pictures of the car and post them where members can see it.

Any ideas on which site is best/least expensive/most user friendly? After the last thread there's no sense posting pics to V V.

Thanks in advance for opinions/responses

Hank
