Dear VV

I have a 66 monza convertible 110 with corsa dash. Speedometer works but
odometer is stuck. Any suggestions as to how is might be fixed would be
greatly appreciated.

Carl - if you think of yourself as "handy", this is something you might be
able to fix. As an option, you may be able to buy a working Speedo, or even
a whole dash, pretty cheap at the swap meets. There are a few parts inside
the gear drives for the ODO that can strip, and some things are available.
Lew Rishel knows the instruments inside and out. To me, the trickiest
thing was removing the speedometer needle - it just pops off and pops back on.
(I like things that unscrew.) Did you put in the Corsa dash? If so, you
should easily be able to remove it, and the Speedometer, then disassemble it.
Just be gentle. Let us know how it goes.
