Good point Louis.  Its just that I have seen so many instances where a
little kindness could have changed a bad outcome to a good one, and the
chance missed because everyone thought that someone else would take care of
it.  And no one did.  It gets to the need for each of us to take any
opportunity to reach out and help another.  To invite the guy sitting by
himself at a meeting, to come sit with us.  To encourage our wives or lady
friends to befriend the new member¹s wife.  To get the new or the old timer
involved in a club project.  In fact to get to know them well enough to know
when a really tough economic turn has happened and that they need their dues
remitted.

Twenty bucks isn¹t much when you have it, but its an awful lot when you
don¹t.

Just sayin....
