Charlie's first question was, "is the cable an EM" and or "the cable is too short" or something to that effect. I've read all the replies (I get the digest version) but so far I haven't read where anyone has stated the length of the cable.

Looking in Clark's catalog, I see he lists 4 separate cables, OK toss out the FC cable, so there are 3 cables, OK toss out the 67 - 69 because it is only stronger. So now we are left with the early and late cables.

Not even knowing the difference, it seems it would come down to the type of ends on each cable or the length. Or have I missed something?

As far as supplying the 2 nuts for the rear of the cable, yea, I think they should be included with a new cable. Add another dollar to the price and make that the only way to sell cables. You cut out the separate listings for nuts and all your customers get a COMPLETE cable ready to install, no additional parts needed. Makes business easier and NO problems like Charlie is having.

FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH, I have a used late model cable that measures a 1/2 inch short of 9 feet or 107.5 inches stem to stern. As a USED cable, it could  already be stretched a little.
