<VV> valve train noise

the valve train gear type noise is from the center rear of the motor ,  
using stethoscope from top or bottom. of course i have adjusted valves running  
hot , (all new stuff , grooved mated etc etc ) and valve geometry looks  ok.
i will tear into it this winter after we are done with car club tours then  
report back with my findings.
VT trees are changing already!
