<VV> dual M/C

Is it true that the brake pedal is different on 67-69 Corvairs with factory
dual master cylinders? Is the hole where the dual master cylinder pushrod
attaches to the pedal in a slightly different place? Does the pushrod have
a little more travel on 67-69 Corvairs? Does that explain why dual master
cylinder retrofits to pre-67 Corvairs don't seem to provide proper braking
when the front or rear circuit fails?
Are there 65-66 manual and PG pedal part numbers, and also 67-69 manual and
PG pedal part numbers?
