<VV> Wiper Arm Location II

Thanks for the input on the wiper arm location.  Question:  Is the location different for earlies?  My "63 ragtop is at the body shop and the front grill is removed and there is nothing in there but a hole.  Please say yes.  The thought of having to reach up under the dash kinda ruins my day.
