<VV> turobo vs 140

I'm in the market for a Corsa..had a 180 turbo in my youth and loved it
after a 61 Monza..not  a mechanic, just like the uniqueness and styling of
the sec gen cars. Read good and not so good things about turbos and
140's..turbos need a lot of "owner involvement" to keep  them at peak
performance...140's have may have valve seat issues...secondary carbs can
become "gummed up" in the car isn't "punched" regularly..just want to drive
the car on the street and be able to get away from a stoplight decently (
maybe occasionally surprise an unsuspecting same age Porsche !!) and enjoy
having a unique car.  Would love to hear from those with
experience!!!!....ED
