OK Grymm:  The trick is to put everything back to stock and it will run like it was new.  Start by making sure the carb float levels are exactly right and they drop easily.  [Don't worry about the drop level because the floats will hit the bottom of the bowl long before they hit their stop] Be sure you have adjusted the throttle linkage so both carbs are closed and will open exactly at the same time.  Now, adjust the accelerator pump linkage on each carb so they start to squirt at the first movement of the throttle.
