Got back from my first trip to SEMA tonight, A Corvair friend and I drove straight thru from Los Vegas to Wichita (about 1200 miles one way) My legs are killing me 24 hours of riding in a vehicle, then two days a constant walking on the hard concrete floors and then another dose of 24 hours in the car.

Saw Seth in the Cafeteria Tuesday morning fetching coffee . . . but by the time I was sure it was him he was gone and not seen again. Ran into Eric Schakel on the show floor and had a good conversation about the new brakes on his Stinger. Saw John Wednesday afternoon in the Fine Art section of the show and had a good chat, he rembered our meeting at Heart of Texas earlier this Summer. Had looked for his van on Tuesday with no success, but it was right outside the door as we went to leave on Wednesday. (Van photo Attached)

One vender was advertising Trim parts for Corvairs at this booth, mostly wood wheel horn buttons and outside door handles. (see attached photo)

It was a low flying trip, but very enjoyable.

Corvair 95 Van of John Jackson...
