Hi Carl,

Just curious if you found the source of your short circuit problem ?

Hope it works out without replacing harnesses !

Charlie

Subject: <VV> 66 Monza Sedan electrical short

This 66 was recently restored. It was completed about 15 months ago. Last
month, I pulled the light switch on and the tail lights shorted out about 15
seconds later. It was obvious that something was sapping the power. If I
turned the light switch off, everything went back to normal. After
replacing the fuse, all works well until the light switch is pulled. Then
the short again. I am hoping someone has some ideas on this. The blinkers
and brake lights work fine. I believe it to be the switch. Others have
said it is more than likely the dimmer switch or a loose ground. All ideas
will be appreciated.

Thanks

Carl
