Mine was quiet. Several friends wished me a happy (?) veteran's day
and thanked me for my service. Veteran's day isn't quite like
Thanks-Giving or Christmas though... having spent a couple of
Thanks-Giving and Christmas days in a dismal place with not much more
than my M-16 for company.

My thoughts don't surround me and what I did while wearing
OD. They're more for the people serving now in some forsaken
shithole on the other side of the planet wishing THEY could have a
normal Thanks-Giving and Christmas but instead are serving US
interests, BY CHOICE.

Thank THEM for THEIR service.
