I am in the category of have done many grease fittings in late rear
hubs. So far no problem, but many have had problems with over greasing.

Now, whether I have extended the life of the bearings, or just wasted my
time will never be known, as most live a long time even without greasing
them!

> Jerry- I have put grease fittings in all my late model rear bearing hubs with success,(if they are still good and not grinding) and that is done by drilling into the hub and using a tap the size of the fitting. Need to know where to drill and not let metal shavings go into the hub. I have it on all mine and have had for years with no problem. Just pump the grease in and not over grease it. You will probably have a lot of negative remarks on this one, but it does work. Ken Clark
