<VV> Re; flickering lights

A previous poster complained that his alternator equipped 
FC had flickering lights.  The reply remains valid.

Mark has a generator, not an alternator. Gemnerators generate DC as is, and
don't use diodes. Lucas may have had many quirks, but putting diodes in
generators wasn't one of them. I'd bet a scotch pie to a Sussex pond that
Delco didn't put diodes in their generators, either, as they would serve no
useful function.
