<VV> OIL FILTER? LEAK

i would remove the filter ,look at the sealing surfaces for extra junk from 
 a previous gasket sticking. clean that groove carefully. may be a chunk 
under  there , or a complete old style flat paper gasket. get a mirror on 
it..feel it  with your fingers. is the rest of that area real clean?
crank seal , crank bolt , oil pump cover,  could also do it. wash the  area 
clean , then look right after running a short time. real stubborn oil  
leaks, tranny leaks  and A/C leaks i use a dye from N A P A and a   battery 
black light .
