Go to a CORSA convention autocross and watch the stock earlies, you'll definitely see the rear ends jack under hard cornering.  You can kind of see it in the photo of the stock car on this page:

A thorough discussion of suspension jacking is beyond the scope of an e-mail, but as I recall the short version is that all fully independent suspensions can have a force that generates an upward force on the car.  The specifics of the links and the geometry dictate whether that force will have any real affect on the car (if it's 2 pounds you'll never notice).
