<VV> mystery rear brake noise, need help

Hi, Ray. You didn't say how you knew it was coming from your brakes, but since it is intermittant I will share something that happened with my Early. Are you sure it isn't a stone caught up between the halfshaft and the opening in the control arm it passes through. I had this happen, and among other things it would squeal intermittantly when braking. Look for score marks on the axle shaft where it passes out of the control arm on the inside.
