<VV> 140 engine on a regular PG transmission

Interesting thought. Is the linkage from the TL to the cross shaft different? I 
did not think so.

than on a 110?
Which linkage did you use?

Even if they are not different, it may be in that linkage adjustment not 
allowing the carbs to idle down.

I put a 140 in a 61 with an automatic once.
The original low horse motor had more guts than the 140.
