Did anybody suggest that an oil pressure gage be installed in place of the 
sender to really see what the oil pressure is/isn't?

Not bad compression readings. I have to wonder what is the strange noise, why is 
the oil lite on at 2000RPM, and why is it running rough? (Well I guess that is 
what you are wondering).
