Chuck, I don't understand your post.

I have plenty of oil filler caps and as far as Clark's saying "with oxidation", they are oil caps and they are oily, or at least the ones I have are oily.

Oil filler cap

When I got my '63 Monza, the oil filler neck was capped (plugged,
actually) with a wadded up hunk of aluminum foil, if I recall correctly.
I couldn't find a compatible cap at any of the flaps, and I see Clark's
is currently listing only some units "with oxidation" - the price is
right, but they sound a bit nasty. Is there anywhere a "universal" oil
filler cap that will seal well on the Vair? I'm currently using a
generic gas cap that sorta fits, but it doesn't seat firmly, and I think
I'm getting some oil spray leaking around it. I haven't checked the
flaps lately - wanted to inquire with you folks first for ideas. Any
suggestions will be welcome.

Cheers,
Chuck
