Bob, mix the STP 50/50 with the same 30 wt oil you break in the engine
with, it will still be thick enough to stay in the bearings, and on the
gears. If a new cam and lifters, get a cam break in lube. The stp, even
at full strength, may not have enough zddp in it to protect the cam and
lifters.

That was actually my plan until all this talk about STP came up. By chance I
have some STP and not Assembly Lube.
