<VV> rocker molding removal?

There is a metal retainer attached to the body roughly 2/3 of the length of
the bright metal rocker trim. It is more or less centered in the trim
piece, so the first several inches are not held by it. Once the screws are
out, start at one end of the trim and lift from the bottom side of the trim.
Work you way along and lift the bottom of the trim piece off of the
retainer. Just move along a couple of inches at a time so as not to damage
(kink) the trim.

Subject: <VV> rocker molding removal?

Hi - what is the trick to removing the long chrome strip molding mounted on
the rocker panel on late models? I know there two screws are the ends, but
once there off, how do you move this piece? Are there clips, if so how do
you the trim to get it off?

Thanks

Rich
