<VV> Corvair Oil filter prices ?

Yeah - like at least 2 years ago - probably more like 3.  Look for the bluish - grey boxes that say Classic.  I suppose it would be a good idea to look in the box before purchase, but I suspect that all the old stock (U gasket style) is gone by now.

I just checked the Advance web site and the are still $5.99.  I would also be a good idea to call a couple of days before you need it because most stores don't keep it on the shelf, but can have it within 24 (or less) hours on week days.
