<VV> Exhaust port tube fit to manifold

Matt,

I was tempted to use my expander on a loose stack, but I was afraid the loss of the bevel on the stack would gouge the head exhaust opening and I didn't want to replace that particular head at the time (95HP FC head). I've just got that particular stack clamped up tight with the exhaust manifold, but I think I'll drop it all again and try the muffler paste now that winter is coming on. Thanks for the tip.

Bob

Any experience on the list with this. Should I use these, or do I have to bite
the bullet and purchase more used ones? I am guessing the press fit would help
with heat transfer from the tube to the exhaust manifold, but as a practical
matter, does anyone know what will actually happen if the fit is sloppy?

Thanks!

As was stated.. not really a problem... and you can use "Muffler Paste" to seal
it.. OR

Find a shop with an expander... or buy..
