<VV> How about the cooling fans from these engines?

 Well, I'm a guy who has had numerous turbo cars, who wished cooling wasn't an issue. After a good 0-60 run or two, I have to let the engine cool off some before I can have more fun.

I don’t hear a lot of complaints  from the  people who actually race Corvairs
.  All the complaints are from the ‘want to bees’

Yet we have a LOT of Corvair people here wanting something substantially better. And people are working on it. So, it would seem they don't work all that well.

A lot of Corvair racers are using Corvair fans and winning races. They may
have cut them down or slowed them up, but they are working!  Are they
inefficient? Yes. Do they work? Yes.
