<VV> A better mixture needle - Adv.

After years of looking for an improved mixture needle for our carbs, I finally found a company to manufacture one for me. I was continuing to be faced with the problem of getting a lot of cores with a larger than stock needle exit hole due to too many heavy handed adjusters. The result was a carb where the stock mixture needle protruded into the small rectangular recess in the throttle body area such that the "factory setting" of 1.5 turns out after seating just didn't do the job any more, and settings would be guestimated or sloppy. I had the new bright plated steel needles produced with a slightly larger tip to compensate for the stretched holes and allow closer to factory setting and more precise metering adjustments.

The bad news was that the manufacturer required a minimum order of 1000 pieces with a purchase of 500 on the first order and 500 over time. This is about 2 years worth of inventory for me, so I thought I would offer some of them to our group at my cost. The good news is that they seem to work just as well with carbs without stretched holes...you just need to use one turn out instead of 1.5. So, if you would like to share in my good fortune, you can have a pair of them for $10 including first class postage. Just send me a private reply to order.
Thanks for the space,
