We are one week from the 45th anniversary of the last day of Corvair production, May 14, otherwise known as "Drive Your Corvair Day." Get them going and drive them to work or the grocery store to the kid's school.

One of the roll-down windows on the drivers side of my brier has developed a sizable crack, which is slowly working its way up and is now about 3/4 of the way. I suspect it will finish its journey soon.

Anyone in the DFW area that might have one lying around at a reasonable cost? Illcome and get it, no shipping needed.

Thanks

Kurt,
Heat Gun.
No open flames, of course, but a heat gun directed at the durn bolt may do
the trick.
Could you  remove he gas tank instead of the suspension?

Ed,
A "Cargo and Baggage Screen Unit #985104" is described and shown graphically in the GB & Camper Accessories brochures; best description is in 1961 brochure. Is this what you are asking about?

Has anyone ever seen or better yet have the factory accessory FC cargo net. Even a picture or a piece of one would be a big help. Thanks. Ed

How thick is the Nitride coating on the crank of a turbo engine?

Hi Bob, I know you are right (as usual). What I should have stated was I HAVE NEVER SEEN AN FC THAT CAME FROM THE FACTORY WITHOUT A HEATER. That statement would be accurate.

But the couple of times I brought "weird" stuff on airplanes I checked the bag and then forewarned the airline rep what I was bringing. May have put their minds at ease knowing what I was doing. And TSA did look at all my stuff (leaving their tape on my box).
