I am servicing the brake cylinders and the left rear cylinder has a 1/4" back plate bent 45% and it blocks the piston from coming out. What is the reason for this ??? I ground one end down so I could get the pistons out. Don't know why this is needed. Gene Barr Eustis, Fl.
