I don't recall a waiting period.  Maybe they did not have it 10 years ago 
when I joined.  I have the 200 mile program - called "Premier RV".  Don't 
recall the price, but it was not too much more than the 100 mile plan.

Also many good discounts.  Once got a better hotel rate than the "Corvair" 
rate at a function.
