The FF cooler was used on all 1962 Corvairs.

Starting in 1963 the plate-type cooler was used on all Corvairs. The 12
Plate cooler is superior to the FF cooler in several ways: Less restrictive
to airflow. Better oil cooling at high speeds and less likely to plug-up
with dirt/dust, etc.

Is it better (more effective) than the 12-plate? Did the early 62-63, and
64 turbos use it?
Just curious.
