<VV> 65 Chevelle bucket seats.

In 1966, GM changed over the intermediates (A-bodies - Chevelle/LeMans) to
the "Astro" bucket seats. More of an actual bucket, with a hard shell back
and some bit of side bolsters. The Corvair stayed the same in 1966, then
changed to a smaller-scale version of the Astro in 1967. This is the seat
they shared with the Camaro and Firebird through 1969. GM used the Astros in
slightly modified forms well into the 70's.

I have a '66 GTO, and the seats for that look like they are shaped just
like '66 Corvair buckets (and '65 for that matter). The vinyl is different
though, but that is true from year to year even when the seats themselves
were the same.
