Hi folks,

I haven't been around much in 2016, so I thought I'd send out a message with a couple thoughts and updates.

First of all, we have almost completed the Communique archive - Steve Spilatro did the heavy lifting on the missing 1980 - 2008 issues. Gary Moore had done most of the earlier publications. John Cleveland dropped me a note that he had the missing 1979 issues and did those. We just have one missing year (1985) left to fill in and we'll have them all! Don't forget you'll need to log in to the web site with your username/pw, then follow the menus Publications -> Publication Archives -> Communiques (PDF) - 1978-Present.

The convention this year was really great. I wasn't able to take time off, but I went and worked out of the hotel room. For a week, I was at the CORSA HQ we all dream of - bumping into people I "work" with on the elevator, caught the events during my lunch hour, swap meet every day after work, and dinner with my far flung Corvair friends at night. It just could not be beat!

The 2017 Convention is in Independence, MO from June 27 to July 1. I have some things to do on both the '66 coupe and '62 wagon, so we haven't quite settled on which is going, but if there aren't any major life disruptions we plan to have a car there this year.

Best to all for 2017, I hope to see you in your Corvair!

--Bryan
