<VV> Junk in oil cooler

I know.  That's why I asked the question.  I'm thinking something internal to the oil filter is the best bet so far.  I'm not as concerned about where at came from now as I am about how much is left in the engine and how to get it out.  (although it would be nice to know the source-oh wait we already do!  The Source is Corvair Underground, isn't it?)

I was just trying to think...there are not too many places in the oil path where you have adjacent pieces of rubber that large. Very puzzling.
