Could the end of the speedo cable that engages into the wheel bearing cap
have some issue?  Stripped boss in the cap maybe or the tittie from the
cable not long enough to engage properly.

I am having some issues with my speedometer.  Basicly it is wobbly readout
below 30 MPH and very smooth above that speed.But  below 30 it will wobble a
lot. Any ideas? Speedo cable is fairly new. Thanks for any suggestions. John

Remove cable at Speedo head and spray some lube on the brass  shaft...  most
likely dry..
