<VV> Towing a Rampside

I have towed mine on an open flatbed trailer tandem axle loaded cab forward. If you have more distance from trailer wheel to front wheel of rampside than trailer wheel to rear wheel of rampside you will be fine. Just think of a teeter totter and don't center the weight on the fulcrum. Once not only did I have the rampside but also a ton of rock in the rampside, won the slow drag at the roundup that year!

plus the 95 inch wheelbase would shift more weight forward to the tongue. Tongue weight is all that counts. 10% of the towed weight (trailer + car) on the ball.

Having the cab in back might create an undesired air dam effect.
Heaviest end goes forward but I think the cab would be heavy enough to keep the trailer from swaying.

Anyone experienced towing a Rampside on a U Haul trailer? Wondering if cab first or rear first is best loading arrangment. Need to go 600 miles. Not sure if the weight distribution of these trucks? As always thanks.RichNovi, ==================================================================
1 Tell U-haul CHEVY PICKUP C10 1/2 ton Do not say Corvair...

2 Doesn't matter with the heavy U-haul trailers.... but rear forward is always considered best.. RS weighs approx. 2600 lb.
