Unless you are just looking for something to do, or you enjoy solving
puzzles, my advice would be to take your starter to a good "Starter
Alternator " shop in your neighborhood and ask them to rebuild it.  In my
area, the cost for a rebuild is about $65.00.  I didn't look at Clarks'
prices, but I doubt you can buy a bendix, solenoid and brushes for less.
Also, their is a recessed snap ring on the shaft by the rear bushing that
is a #@**!!! to get off without a special tool.
