Thanks to Corvairs Northwest for hosting Econorun 44. Great accommodations, good weather, a beautiful driving route and lots of good company.

Congratulations to the driving team of Johnson, Johnson and Johnson for taking first place in both 2 carb manual and 4 carb manual classes. Suzanne (driver) and Laura Johnson (navigator) drove Suzanne's 68 Monza coupe in the 2 carb class scoring a 28.7 MPG, while Rex drove their 69 Monza convertible in the 4 carb class scoring 29.3 MPG over the 133 mile course. Pretty good mileage for a 140 with all smog equipment in place and functional. Way to go Team Johnson!
