<VV> Hot

If it was the temp light that is serious hot. That can damage several things including Viton o-rings. Even with a good synthetic oil it can't take that much heat for long. I suggest if you havn't already removed the lower shrouds do so. And check everything to be sure there are no air leaks in the oval hose or anywhere else. That is hot enough that I start to worry about valve seats coming out. And that will trash the engine faster than most anything can. Short answer yes change it because it's likely been cooked. If you're lucky it won't start leaking at the pushrod tube seals.Paul Fox

 Hi all,
Drove the 140 at 75 mph yesterday at 108o... It got a bit hot...the temp
light flickered on and I pulled it over and cooled it down and drove it
home.
My question is, should I change the oil now? Just changed it last weekend.
