Don't forget the fan which is reverse rotation.  If you want the alternator to cool properly, you need the correct fan.
Jim, '66 turbovert w/110 amp internally regulated alternator.  
BTW, With this setup, you don’t need a separate regulator but you do need a diode to prevent a 12volt back circuit.  Without the diode, you can't shut off the engine with the key.

Vendors have all the parts, as well as most likely kits..   Besides an Alternator [ 3 types used ]  you may need a regulator,  and ALL  will need the Alternator specific  Mount on the engine…
