While you have the sender out, is a good time to install an in tank electric fuel pump so you can retire "old leaky" on the engine. Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, an AT&T 5G smartphone

Then when ready to remove the sender, make the passenger side slightly higher than the driver's side and the gasoline remaining in the tank shouldn't slosh out too quick. Note a full tank is 14 gallons, so have three empty 5 gallon cans ready.Has this sender been in there since before you bought the car? Has it ever worked right during  your ownership?Frank DuValOn 1/8/2022 12:03 PM, N2VZD TIM via VirtualVairs wrote:> Possibly bad ground at tank (look under right front wheel ) or at dash under a bottom screw  to the right of the steering column.  Sender removal is the lock ring by the right front wheel. Just have drain pan ready under it and no ignition sources nearby. No bending of the arm , check float for a leak (ck weight).>   > Anybody have the forms needed to pay chapter dues to C O R S A?    I was asked to try to help  find them.  Regards & thank you  , Tim Colson  C N Y Corvair club. _______________________________________________This message was sent by the VirtualVairs mailing list, all copyrights are the propertyof the writer, please attribute properly.
