I disassembled the controls and the slides controls are now properly lubed. However the cables are very hard to move freely by hand. Today I tried to get some graphite and Pb Blaster on the ends hoping some may use capillary action to start to loosen them. This car is original '66 car. Any ideas?  Mike  Check with some of the motorcycle shops and ask about a cable lube gizmo that attaches to the end of the cable and can force-feed oil through the sheath from one end to the other.? I've seen them but I don't remember who made them. Now that I think about it, that's something I could certainly use myself. tony..
