The underdash installation boxes can be gotten nearly anywhere that car stereos are sold.  Even at WalMart/Target/KMart/PepBoys/Autozone.  If you want to buy one via the internet, Crutchfields (www.crutchfields.com) has them available.

Good luck with the new driver!  My son has been driving 2 years now with no accidents - only a rock scrape due to an intentional off-road excursion.  He learned to drive in my '63, so he still steals it from me on a regular basis.
