 # 9 off the Oshawa line in '65.
Corsa turbo convertible. White w/red int. 26,000 mi.
virtually no rust. Needs complete restoration.
Always dry stored. Has original "Spyder 180" decal on aircleaner and welded-up
holes where "Spyder" emblems may have been on the front fenders. This might
have been one of the "mythical" '65 Spyders (changed to a Corsa by GM?)
Original turbo engine, but stuck.
Locking gas cap on the option sheet might indicate GM showcar, as all GM
showcars had them.
It's the same colours as the '65 brochure car, and might actually be THAT car.
Reportedly, 3 of the first 9 cars were white/red turbo cvts, indicating a
batch of like cars possibly for show purposes.
This is a rare opportunity to own one of the most significant Corvairs out
there.
