<VV> the Amsoil cult...

Hey now...think about it. If you used a product you
knew a lot about...knew it was a great
product...wouldn't you back it up if you had the
chance to? It's not a cult because the people that
use it and know about it like it and KNOW it's
strengths...it's just, when you find someone who knows
about this particular product that knows a lot about
it...you can't mess around with them, because they
know what they're saying, and you don't.

It's like someone saying Corvairs are pieces of crap,
could never outhandle any of the other Chevies, were
slow, unreliable, and leaked oil like a siv. We know
it's not true, and if you had the chance to, you'd let
them know they were wrong.

Amsoil is NOT a factory direct oil. ANYONE can be a
dealer. Either me, or the auto shop down the street.
Doesn't matter. And yes, we do have a couple places
in town that carry Amsoil. That's not to say every
city on earth has it, or that a lot of people stock
it...but just that we have it here, and it's not just
a private thing.

And just for the sake of argument...yeah, lots of
Amsoil guys stock the stuff people use a
lot...including like 5W-30 or 10W-40 or whatever.
it's not just a processing thing to be a dealer. BUT
you probably COULD do it the processing way if you
wanted to...but most Amsoil guys I know or have met
have the basic stuff people are looking for...and if
they don't have it, they can get it for you.
