I still have the stock bypass filter 1954 Farmall Super "C".  Works as 
advertised.  My  Case/IH dealer carries the replacement cartarges in stock 
at $4.99 each.  But then again there are probably 100 or more Farmall's of 
that vintage still operating in the Calloway County.
