Lowering the compression ratio will lower the max HP even further. I run regular  
gas in my 95 with no pinging but it's hooked to a PG.
 
Hope you can make it to the August meeting. I've done quite a bit of work  to 
the sedan and we'll be going for shakes and malts after the meeting.
