Sounds like you are making progress on the leg. Penny is doing pretty
well. The splint came off today. There is one heck of a lot of stuff
poking out of her arm and hand. Two posts at either end of a metal bar
external "fixator", and the ends of several pins. They removed the sutures
today and will start pulling pins in two weeks. The fixator might come out
in 4 weeks or it might be 6 or 8 weeks. She feels better without the heavy
splint.
Our next big goal is to get permission to travel to the Ultra National in
mid-September. Surgeon says "Maybe".
Since Penny can't sign anything with her left hand she gave me the secret
location of the checkbook. I'm busy planning on some fun purchases. <grin>
