Well, the electric cooling option cost a significant sum and there was no 
evidence that it works at all.  The electric cooled car was very conspicuous 
in it's absence from either of the touring runs.  If it had participated, it 
would at least have proved that it can run alongside normal Corvairs and the 
econo-run would have tested it on some significant grades.  But, it wasn't 
there.  Was there a significant reason?  We're still waiting and waiting and 
waiting to find out.
