<VV> Weather stripping

While I wait for the necessary funds to purchase a new cam, cam gear,
and blower bearing so as to put the 110 back together AGAIN, I thought
I would replace the weather stripping. I've already completed the
trunk and it turned out nicely. I have the old stripping off of the
engine lid and will try to replace it today. The next step is the
window stripping along the top edge. I'm using a complete kit from a
right coast vendor which I ordered in the fall of '03. I thought I
read somewhere on the posts that the window stripping is not a factory
match and someone had experienced air and water leaks. That could mean
that they didn't install it correctly or I don't remember correctly or
... If anyone has used said product and would relate to me their
experiences OFF FORUM, I would be much appreciative.

P.S. While taking out the engine stripping, the material that was
filling one of the factory holes in the channel where the stripping
attaches to the body came out. Refill with . . . ?
